The 72nd Special Action Company, 7th Special Action Battalion (72 SAC, 7 SAB) of the Philippine National Police is preparing for how it would cope if it was left stranded in a disaster.

The Seminar and Simulation Exercises (SIMEX) on water search and rescue retrieval operation was designed to improve the knowledge and skills of the volunteers as well as the community in Barangay Bangas, Hadji, Panglima Tahil, Sulu.
"This community is known as a resilient-capable community," 72nd SAC in their Facebook post said.
"They're all involved either as victims or skippers or use of boats - the civilian community have been outstanding. So it's all been done with private companies supporting the 72nd SAC."
Facemasks were subsequently removed for the successful conduct of the said activity.
